Roy sat there thinking of what to do today. He wanted to take the lieutenant out somewhere, but then again, he couldn’t. He sat back on his couch and thought. She would be here any moment and yet he didn’t know what to do. Maybe sit inside all day with her, just sitting here, cuddling and talking, Or maybe they would find something fun to do. He thought to himself. Why is it so hard for me to think of something to do with her? Why? Am I afraid of what might happen if people found put we were dating? Something? He sighed and sat there. Urg… The door bell rang. Shit, she is here. He thought to himself has he fix his hair back up and buttoned his shirt back up. He walked over to the door and took a deep breath, he opened the door and smiled. Not his usual smile, just a smile, but a soft smile.” Lieu— Uh, Riza, you look well today, come in, please.” He said softly moving to the side to let her in.
Riza smiled upon seeing the Colonel, her heart fluttering slightly. “Hello, Roy.” She stepped through the door and kissed him lightly, wrapping her arms around his neck. “How are you?” She kicked the door closed with her foot, hugging him. She was in a rather good mood tonight— perhaps it was just because she was with Roy. A light rose painted her cheeks and she nuzzled his neck, uncharacteristically bubbly.
A bit shocked, he put his arms around her, smiling as he sent another kiss back to her. He liked it when she was in a good mood, he really did. “I’m a lot better now Riza, and how are you?” He said with a wink and a laugh. He moved her hair from her eyes, looking at nothing but her eyes. He always loved looking into them.
“I’m pretty well, thanks.” She pressed her lips to his lightly, burying her face in his neck. It wasn’t like Riza to show this much emotion, but she really let her guard down around Roy. Besides, they were alone.
